The Communications team at the YWCA Berkeley/Oakland was formed in the Fall of 2019 as an effort to build the YWCA brand and share our message with our community. The team is managed by a staff advisor and YWCA interns who are looking to build a team of volunteers interested in developing their own marketing and communication skills.
The communications team role is ideal for students and new graduates from any college in the East Bay (community college, state school, UC, and private), who are eager to help us fulfill our mission in the digital space! This role will provide in-house training and leadership opportunities for motivated young leaders.
Projects may include, but are not limited to:
- Social Media management
- Video production
- Blog maintenance
- Website development
