Economic Empowerment

Empowerment and Leadership programs at the YWCA Berkeley/Oakland address the growing need to teach personal finance, digital skills, and job skills to young women* in order to increase their financial independence and economic success.

Financial Literacy Workshops

We provide workshops on financial literacy for high school students and adults. Topics include budgeting, investing, the wealth gap, paying for college, and more.

If you would like to bring these workshops to your school or organization, please email the program director at financialliteracy@ywca-berkeley.org.
