Financial Literacy Workshops

Financial Literacy is an Economic Empowerment Program that addresses the growing need to teach personal finance, digital skills, and job skills to young women in order to increase their financial independence and economic success.

We provide workshops on financial literacy for high school students and other community members. Topics include budgeting, investing, the wealth gap, paying for college, and more.

If you would like to bring these workshops to your school or organization, please email the program director at finliteracy@ywca-berkeley.org.

The Young Women and Money Conference is an annual event which gives young women the opportunity to learn about personal finances through workshops and keynote speakers. We aim to serve young women of color in Oakland and the greater Bay Area between the ages of 18-30, but is open to people of all ages.
