The YWCA Berkeley/Oakland, a dynamic organization dedicated to eliminating racism,
empowering women*, developing leaders, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for
all, is seeking an Executive Director. The YWCA is located at 2600 Bancroft Way, Berkeley,
CA. Through the YWCA, UC Berkeley students and volunteers advance the YWCA Mission and
Hallmark Programs through participating in a variety of initiatives and activities that provide
opportunities and services to the community.
The successful candidate must have enthusiasm for the YWCA mission, strong leadership
skills, and first-hand experience related to the goals inherent in our mission and Hallmark
Programs. In addition, experience in guiding volunteer programs, working with a Board of
Directors, financial management and human relations are essential.

The annual base salary for the Executive Director position is $100,000+ , subject to negotiation.
