The YWCA Berkeley Oakland is pleased to announce that Jennifer Radics-Johnson, the new Executive Director. Named “Inspiring Leader” by the Center for Nonprofit Management in 2018, Jennifer Radics-Johnson is a nonprofit executive dedicated to public service with more than 15 years of financial, personnel, and program management. Jennifer previously was the Executive Director of the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation in El Cerrito where she has been since 2012.
Prior to that, she was the Director of Development at Rosemary Children’s Services in Pasadena Ca. and has worked in Communications and Marketing with several other organizations since 2005. Her strengths are in fiscal procurement and management in the nonprofit field.
As a woman of color, and the daughter of immigrants, Jennifer believes that representation matters in order to represent the voice and needs of all women. Jennifer has the ability to lead, inspire and implement innovative, successful, and profitable ideas. Jennifer has extensive experience working with various community leaders and groups. She has a BA in Communications from the University of California, San Diego and a Master’s in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University. She believes in the Mission of the YWCA and is excited about working with our Board, Staff, and student leaders to continue and uplift programs with this effort in mind!
