If you are a vintage reseller or maker of handmade goods we would love to have you! We are looking to uplift small businesses, local and student artists, and women* identifying, BIPOC, LGBTQIA sellers! The application link is below.
The YWCA Berkeley/Oakland is hosting its 2nd Annual Vintage & Artisan Bazaar! The bazaar aims to connect the greater East Bay Community with local businesses, artisans, and artists by cultivating a supportive and creative environment. We will be hosting a variety of local vendors, with a focus on uplifting local artists, students, and businesses.
We will be accepting sliding scale donations as an entrance fee, which will support racial, youth, economic, and gender justice programs at the YWCA Berkeley/Oakland.
Yep, you heard that right. All vendor booth fees and customer entrance fees will go back into our nonprofit’s programming to support the community. So, join us for a day of shopping and supporting other local businesses as we uplift and connect with our community!

Participant Agreements
YWCA Berkeley/Oakland, it’s board, employees, and volunteers will not be responsible for any damage or loss to the vendor’s property, injury to, or death of the vendor or to the vendor’s sales. The vendor holds themselves accountable for all risks involved including loss, damage, liability, or injury from any cause. Vendor releases and waives any claims against YWCA Berkeley/Oakland, it’s board, employees, and volunteers related to the previously mentioned statements.
Each vendor is responsible for any business or personal insurance necessary to cover their liability for all activities made and performed at the YWCA Berkeley/Oakland, to itself, event attendees, other participants, and YWCA staff, board members, and volunteers. The vendor waives all responsibility and liability from YWCA Berkeley Oakland, its staff, volunteers, and board members.
**NOTE: Student vendors or any sellers, who don’t have business or personal insurance are REQUIRED to fill out the Liability Waiver and email it to info@ywca-berkeley.org after completing their application. Access it HERE**
Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables, displays, and fixtures. Because this event is indoors at the YWCA Berkeley/Oakland building, (2600 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA 94704) please detail in the noted space set out in the application what size table, amount of chairs, size of fixtures and displays you will bring. Please don’t bring canopy tents or any displays that need to be hung on walls as this is an indoor event in our building. Check note below if you are a student vendor.
There will be no food or drinks sold at this event due to its indoor nature. Feel free to bring personal food and non-alcoholic beverages. Furthermore, we are located right next to a plethora of local restaurants and eateries. Right next to the YWCA Berkeley/Oakland, on the other side of our building is Chengdu.
**NOTE: If you are a student vendor or need certain accommodations, and cannot supply your own table and chairs for your booth, the YWCA has limited tables and chairs available for use. Please make note of this in your application, so if approved you can reserve table and chairs for your use**
Access: Our venue is not pet friendly, and has an ADA Accessible ramp from the front entrance. There are restrooms available for use in the back of our building.
Unloading Booth Supplies: Once your application is approved you will receive notice on how to schedule a morning unloading slot time to come to the front of the building unload supplies with the help of YWCA volunteers and staff.
Parking: Paid street parking is available around our building for use, with access to a few paid public lots as well nearby. Paid UC Berkeley parking structure open to the public on weekends. Under the Hearst Tennis Courts.

Staff and Volunteers: There will be YWCA staff and volunteers available to assist on the event day of. If approved, you will be sent a YWCA Vintage and Artisan Bazaar Packet with necessary contact information, forms, and other information.
Booth Fee Payment: Once your application has been processed and approved, you will receive an email on payment instructions. If you want to apply but do not qualify for the Student Booth Fee and need financial assistance, please reach out to info@ywca-berkeley.org for more information.
General Booth Fee: $75
Student Booth Fee: $35
**NOTE: You qualify for Student Booth Fee if you are currently enrolled in a any type of education program or have graduated in the last year**
We will require proof of vaccination for both attendees and vendors at the door upon entry. Please make sure to wear a mask as we are an indoor event, and feel free to step out if need be for prolonged periods of removal. We also recommend having hand sanitizer available at your booth for attendees to utilize when browsing your items.
In an effort to reduce waste and stay environmentally friendly, we highly discourage the use of plastic shopping bags. While not prohibited, we do keep our best efforts to encourage sustainable practices.
