This annual event strives to uplift and amplify the voices of female authors and women of color.
This year’s event features Ingrid Rojas Contreras (The Man Who Could Move Clouds, a Pulitzer Prize finalist), Oakland’s own Dorothy Lazard (What You Don’t Know Will Make a Whole New World), National Bestselling Author Gail Tsukiyama (The Brightest Star, Dreaming Water), and Independent Press Winner Irene Sardanis (Connections, Out of the Bronx). This year’s authors will discuss their inspiration, writing journey and how some of their most beloved work came to be.
